On May 25, 2024, Imperial Esports announced the signing of the former Nigma Galaxy women’s roster — six-time champions of the ESL Impact League, the premier all-female Counter-Strike circuit. This acquisition marks Imperial’s return to the female esports scene, bringing in a lineup rich in international experience.

According to Felippe “felippe1” Martins, founder and CEO of Imperial, the signing has broad objectives:

    • Integrate international know-how to help develop new Brazilian female players;
    • Boost the growth of the national women’s scene in the medium and long term;
    • Encourage future partnerships and bring influencers into the organization’s ecosystem.
